Map of the Catskill Aqueduct System

The shaded sections west of the Hudson indicate the watersheds which will fill the Ashokan and other reservoirs. At Storm King a tunnel aqueduct will pass under the river to Breakneck, thence the aqueduct will cross the south-west corner of the Croton watershed to the enlarged Kensico reservoir, south of which is shown the site for the filters, and farther on the great equalizing Hill View reservoir.
Webmaster's note: Remember the map above is from 1909, while the system was still being planned and built. The Catskill watershed in the north and its connecting aqueduct were never built, instead the water system was expanded to the west.
