It stars Bryan Burgin, legendary Conservation Officer from Margaretville. Many local folks appear in the film, including fellow offficer Bob VanBenschoten, Burt Tubbs, Ros and C. A. Sanford, Hal Church and wife, a teenage Andy Rosa, and animal handler Niles Fairbairn of Dry Brook. The film was screened in theaters before the featured movie in the 1950s -- several folks recall seeing it at the Galli-Curci in Margaretville -- and today is seen periodically on the Turner Classic Movies channel.
