THOUSANDS OF TONS OF ORE STORED IN A JOHNSTOWN YARD

Nestling in a narrow valley on the western side of the Allegheny Mountains, Johnstown is a typical "steel town." In the doleful days of the Johnstown flood, the people lost all but their courage — the tap-root of their city's present splendid standing.
