The "Angola Horror"
Leslies's Weekly

The Wreck of the Lake Shore & Michigan Railroad's
New York Express Buffalo Bound, at Angola, New York, in 1867.

The victim's were taken to the town morgue for identification but many were burned beyond recognition.

The next Sunday afternoon a Memorial Service was held at the Exchange Street Depot of the Railroad in Buffalo.
